Austin native Billy Perkins has been designing rock posters since the early 1990's. Influenced by a combination of 60's psychedelia and silver age comics art, Perkins works in a variety of illustration styles. Perkins has won numerous awards, including a 4-time "Best Concert Poster" winner at the annual Austin Music Awards, which officially kicks off SXSW. His work appears in Art of Modern Rock, Swag 2, Rockin' Down the Highway, A Fistful of Rock and several other books and publications.
